I am a moving image artist, researcher, teacher and an artistic director in a yearly AAVE – Alternative AudioVisual Event in Helsinki. Currently I am doing my doctoral thesis on the concept of figurality on the moving image in Aalto University. I am interested in the structural possibilities in audiovisual work and the forms of video essay, aphorism video and “live cinema”.
